Iglesia Ni Kristo is now on its 95th year of Foundation this year. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo showed her gratitude for the religious group as she declared July 27, 2009 a special non-working Holiday. Iglesia Ni Kristo has been steadfast in promoting religious values and moral formation as well as nation- building through its members. Congratulations to Iglesia Ni Kristo!

Caloocan Bishop Deogracias Iniguez, CBCP public affairs head said that CBCP will be having their elections this week. They will be electing the new CBCP President, Aside from that, three administrative head councils, representing Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, and 20 commissions and committees chairpersons will also be elected by bishops all over the country. Elections will be held from July 11-12.

All over the country,people celebrated Easter Sunday in different ways.The catholic church continued the “Salubong” tradition early in the morning followed by a mass.Some celebrated it with their families,others made colorful eggs as part of the “Easter Egg Hunt” for the kids.Truly,this is a great celebration of our Lord’s Triumph over death on the cross.
